Come celebrate with panache and elegance the magic of the era of the great Viennese balls. Alexander invites you to Vienna and offers an enchanting program of great Viennese waltzes such as the Blue Danube and the Emperor’s Waltz, not forgetting the Tritsch Tratsch Polka and Mozart’s cheerful Rondo. The interpretation of these mythical works by Alexandre and the musicians of the Orchestre symphonique de Longueuil is faithful to the greatest Viennese tradition and is based on the century-old know-how of the Wiener Symphoniker.

This virtual concert, recorded without an audience at the Plaza Theater, a magical place with a unique cachet, will be enhanced with excerpts from the twice award-winning documentary Der Stehgeiger “The Standing Violinist”, by director Sébastien Ventura. In this documentary filmed in 2016 in Vienna, Alexandre tells us about his career as a musician. He is at that moment back in Vienna, the city where he studied violin, to conduct the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and to record his album Stradivarius at the Opera.
